My Thursday is complete. Parks and Recreation resumes with its second season, The Office returns with season six, and the premiere of Community, starring Joel McHale and Chevy Chase, all begins tomorrow night! Catch it!

Ever wondered what Chris Hardwick, host of the 90’s hit show Singled Out, has been up to? He hosts a hilarious version of E!’s Talk Soup entitled Web Soup on G4TV. The channel is making a comeback in a big way and I give a lot of the credit to shows like X-play, Attack of the Show, and of course Web Soup. Check your local listings for viewing times (typically every Sunday, 9PM ET).

I was scoping out movie trailers on Apple’s website the other night when I came across this film starring Paul Giamatti. I’ve never heard anything about this film and I only checked it out because the movie poster caught my eye. (Click photo to view trailer). It’s slated to come out in next month (Aug. 7) and it’s peaked my interest. However, poking around the interweb, its release is limited to the NY and LA areas.

Here’s the plot summary:

Is your soul weighing you down? Paul Giamatti has found a solution! In the surreal comedy COLD SOULS, Paul Giamatti plays an actor named… Paul Giamatti. Stumbling upon an article in The New Yorker about a high-tech company that extracts, deep-freezes and stores people’s souls, Paul very well might have found the key to happiness for which he’s been searching. But, complications arise when he is the unfortunate victim of “soul-trafficking.” Giamatti’s journey takes him all the way to Russia in hopes of retrieving his stolen soul from an ambitious but talentless soap-opera actress. Balancing a tightrope between deadpan humor & pathos, and reality & fantasy, COLD SOULS is a true soul searching comedy. Also starring David Strathairn, Dana Korzun and Emily Watson.
