Can’t believe it’ll be 10 years since Toy Story 2. The classic comedy and all voice actors of our beloved toys are back for the third sequel. This time Andy is all grown up and off to college. The fate of Woody, Buzz, Jessie, et al, lie in the hands of a day-care center they were dropped off at. Set to be released next summer, June 18, 2010.

Daft Punk and Disney

Daft Punk has signed on to write the original music soundtrack for Walt Disney’s Tron 2.0. The film is scheduled to be released in 2011 and is supposed to be the next chapter after the first film. The storyline for Tron 2.0 involves the films original actor, Jeff Bridges, and a light jet-light cycle battle sequence.

For Daft Punk members, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, this will be their first feature film to be involved in. They directed a movie called Electroma but didn’t feature any of their own music but they have provided most of the music for Interstella 5555 anime. For any Tron or Daft Punk fans, this could be the greatest news we’ve heard of yet. Now to wait for 2011 to get here already. AHHH!

Also FYI: Daft Punk has announced that they will be touring again in 2010-2011. WOOHOO!

photo Disney and Hulu to hook up?
Your dream of having high quality Hannah Montana streaming live on your interwebz may soon be coming true. Apparently, a Disney-Hulu partnership is close to coming into fruition. While most Disney shows and movies are expected to be on board, Disney owned channels like ESPN or ABC News, may not. However, most big ABC shows like Lost, will be.
The only major network officially without a date to the Hulu school dance? CBS. The lone, pimple-faced wallflower, huddled deep in the corner of the gymnasium.
