Date Night trailer (Release Date: April 9, 2010)

NBC power duo Steve Carell and Tina Fey, a married couple looking for a little excitement and romance in their lives, embark on a date gone wrong. While the material here seems a bit cheesy, laughs are sure to be had with two of the funniest actors on television at the helm. And with a stacked cast that includes Mark Wahlberg, James Franco, Mila Kunis, Mark Ruffalo, Ray Liotta, Taraji P. Henson, Common and Kristen Wiig (not to mention Olivia Munn, *ahem*), you better believe this film is gonna get pubbed big time prior to its release. Especially on NBC.

Hey, remember when MTV used to temporarily cutoff their steady stream of music videos to air an animated block of awesome? Well, MTV.com has been streaming full episodes for a few of those shows. I’m just showcasing The Maxx because it is one of my personal favorites. Aeon Flux and Beavis & Butt-Head are also on this list of “Classics” however, I don’t think Laguna Beach, Punk’d, and Pimp My Ride really belong. If MTV would somehow bring Daria up to stream, I’d think about praising them again… but only think about it.

Season 4 is being split up with the first eight new episodes starting sooner (midnight on October 18, 2009 on Adult Swim) with the remaining eight by summer 2010.

There’s a reason why every DJ you see in the club rocks a Macbook Pro and Serato Scratch Live. And before mash-ups became played out, somebody made it hip to drop Journey in the middle of a jiggy set. If you follow the culture, you know that he was one of the firsts to genuinely freak SSL relative mode and set the precedent for today’s party rockers.

Rest in peace, DJ AM. You truly were a “king among DJ’s”.

Throughout the week, I’ve been revisiting AM’s old mixes and uploading them to share with y’all. Good music, sick transitions, ill cuts…a real DJ’s DJ. Too bad plastic cats only knew him for his high-profile romances with Hollywood girls. It’s such a shame that he relapsed and went out the way he did. ::shaking my head::
